Family Equality Council's mission is to advance legal and lived equality for LGBTQ families, and for those who wish to form them, through building community, changing hearts and minds, and driving policy change. There are many good resources at this website, including personal stories, videos, and research articles about LGBTQ family building, information and stories about adoption to assisted reproductive technologies, and information about the laws that affect LGBTQ families.   

 

COLAGE unites people with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and/or queer parents and caregivers into a network of peers and supports them as they nurture and empower each other to be skilled, self-confident, and just leaders in our collective communities.

 

Our Family Coalition aims to advance equity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) families with children through support, education, and advocacy. Our Family Coalition Calendar of Support Groups, Education Workshops, and Play Dates for Bay Area LGBTQ parents and their kids.

RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association, established in 1974, is dedicated to ensuring that all people challenged in their family building journey reach resolution through being empowered by knowledge, supported by community, united by advocacy, and inspired to act. Resolve has a great database of peer led support groups on topics related to infertility, parenting after infertility, adoption, etc.
